Well today was a very productive day. I had a wonderful chat with a lady from Texas. As our conversation unfolded, the idea of Rodan and Fields being a ground floor opportunity was expanded.

It’s been many months since I started my Internet marketing program and I have to say it’s been a ride. I can’t even begin to tell you how exciting it is and how frustrating it is, all at the same time.

I thank my fellow marketers from the bottom of my heart as you guided and trained me through the arena of web 2.0. I have developed many relationships across the world. I hold you dear to me because it was through my experience with you, that I have found my way to an opportunity. You made it possible for me to see the opportunity when my friend, Joy, laid the Rodan and Fields concept out before my very eyes.

We’ve all been to YouTube a few times and have accepted video content as part of the internet these days. News sites publish their TV content on the web, and even shows or whole movies can be watched online in some places. Live webcam chats have also been offered by a few major community sites.

But with videos and webcam feeds becoming a normality for the user, smaller sites and business were left out unless they were syndicating YouTube content, an option not leaving a very professional impression to a websites visitor.

When Website design first started no real attention was paid to search engine optimization. Website designers knew html or an html design program such as Front Page or Dreamweaver. A good designer also had an eye for layout, colors, etc. Search Engine Optimization was little known and less understood. Since far fewer websites had been designed and put on the Internet you still had a chance to be found even if you paid little heed to search engine marketing.

This is no longer true. The number of websites available on the web and the amount of competition they provide is mind boggling. This is true for most subjects and areas of business.

Everyone is concerned about their Google rankings. An algorithm change or an update can often leave many a webmaster in tears.

However, I often like to sneak in through the back door. So today I’m going to reveal to you some of my Google secrets, because Google’s Lab is much larger than you think.

Opt in lists are some things that are discussed in almost all internet marketing forums you will come across online. If you are still new in the world of Internet marketing, you might ask what opt in email lists are. This is a mailing list of sorts, one on which your clients have to willingly subscribe to receive information and product or service updates via email. They have to make a request to be added on to your mailing list database. You must have come across forms on the websites that have asked for your name and email address to be added on to their mailing list. When you have filled in these forms, you have joined an opt in email list.
