  • I have felt the pain… And lived to see another day

    Dec 18

This post goes out to all the readers with no experience regarding internet marketing, hosting, FTPing and the likes. Day after day, I trudged through the mumbo jumbo thinking “there’s no way I’m gonna make it.” I’m gonna fall on my face again before the party gets started.

Well, today is the day of the party. I’m going to meet Alex Jeffreys online tonight for Module 4 and the beginning of the traffic contest.  Ya whooo! I get to play. You see I was having the hardest time trying to figure out how to get my registration form and the Profit Pulling Platform to work. And to be honest, we have a bunch of people in our group that are so smart, they do all the fancy stuff. And before you know it, you can’t figure out what your own stuff is suppose to look like. Let alone, how to get there.

So I have to give a big thanks to my sister, Debi, for helping me get through my homework. She spent quite a bit of time watching videos and figuring out exactly what needed to be done. I really can’t explain why it just kept getting messed up in my brain. But I just couldn’t see how it went together.

The new people know exactly what I’m talking about. Go here. Do this. Do that, but don’t forget we’ll come back to this later and then use this. Well, my “USE THIS” didn’t work for me, so hostgator told me to use Core FTP and it worked like a charm.

Now that’s not to say my PPP is perfect because it’s not. I did something wrong with the confirmation page/opt in. It goes out to the subscriber but doesn’t do it in the timeline it’s suppose to. But that’s OK. I can fix that tomorrow. Because today, I’m going to the party. And I can at least be part of the competition.

  1. Hi Renee,

    Fellow Alex Jeffreys student here!

Did you create your site since you started Alex’s course?

I am doing a promotional video, and wanted to know if I could use a screenshot of your site?

Could you drop me an email to let me know? (joe@joetrueman.com)

    Cheers

  2. Hi Renee and fellow students,

Love your blog, Renee. Very beautiful! :) Please add me to your blogroll. I’ll do the same.

LISTEN, EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION! I have a terrific Christmas present for all of you. Terrific is an understatement. This will most definitely be the greatest Christmas present you will recieve this year! I guarantee it. It’s worth $4,000! Yes, not a typo.

Everyone get over to my blog ASAP at http://www.marklucianoonline.com and read the posts from Dec.16th and Dec.18th. Don’t wait even one second or you will miss this. It isn’t going to be there for long, and I want all of my fellow students to get this NOW!

Tell all of our fellow students about this, but nobody else please. If you wait you’ll be very angry when you see what you missed out on.
